Career Opportunities

The Sisi Li Research Group at the International Cancer Center, Shenzhen University, is seeking highly motivated individuals to join our team. We offer a collaborative and dynamic research environment focused on RNA homeostasis and immunity.

Recruitment for Assistant Professor, Sisi Li’s Group, Shenzhen University

1. Research Directions

  1. RNA molecular structure and dynamics simulation;
  2. Modeling and interaction analysis of RNA-protein complexes;
  3. Small molecule docking screening and computational optimization of antiviral drugs;
  4. AI-assisted RNA structure prediction and functional design.

2. Lab and PI Introduction

Lab Profile: Our laboratory focuses on the molecular mechanisms of RNA homeostasis regulation and innate viral immunity. We are dedicated to revealing how dysregulation of RNA metabolism contributes to infectious and autoimmune diseases. By integrating AI-driven synthetic biology, we develop functional RNAs and broad-spectrum antiviral strategies. Our current research combines structural biology, molecular immunology, and AI modeling, leveraging cryo-EM, molecular docking, and omics analysis.

PI Biography: The group is led by Dr. Sisi Li, a Distinguished Professor. She earned her Ph.D. from Fudan University and completed her postdoctoral training at Memorial Sloan Kettering Cancer Center in New York. She is a recipient of the National Science Fund for Young Scientists (B Class), the Shenzhen Outstanding Youth Fund, and a core member of the Guangdong Innovative and Entrepreneurial Research Team. She currently serves as a member of the Basic Medical Sciences Branch of the Chinese Society of Biochemistry and Molecular Biology. In recent years, she has published multiple high-impact papers as a corresponding author in journals such as Science, Nature Communications, PNAS, and Molecular Plant, and leads several projects funded by the NSFC.
